Kestrel Group Ltd (NASDAQ: KG) provides fronting services and reinsurance products to insurance program managers, managing general agents (MGAs), reinsurers and reinsurance brokers; its core offerings include widely licensed A.M. Best A- (Excellent) admitted and surplus lines capacity across casualty, workers compensation, catastrophe-exposed property and non-catastrophe-exposed property lines, with support for short-tail and long-tail risks, small and large sizes, and specialty and standard products; the company facilitates insurance transactions through management contracts with four carriers--Sierra Specialty Insurance Company, Rochdale Insurance Company, Park National Insurance Company and Republic Fire and Casualty Insurance Company, all subsidiaries of AmTrust Financial Group, with an option to acquire them. Kestrel Group Ltd operates nationwide in the United States and serves regional and specialty property and casualty insurers. The company, founded in 2022 and headquartered at 11 Bermudiana Road, Suite 1141, Hamilton HM 08, Bermuda, completed its business combination with Maiden Holdings Ltd in May 2025, forming a publicly listed specialty program platform under the Kestrel Group Ltd name with Nasdaq trading commencing on May 28, 2025; this merger, announced in December 2024, created a capital-light, fee-based insurance platform, accelerated growth plans and positioned the company to capitalize on market opportunities through enhanced underwriting capacity and strategic pivots initiated by Maiden in 2024.
