Kenmare Resources plc engages in the exploration, development and production of titanium minerals and zircon from the Moma Titanium Minerals Mine on the northeast coast of Mozambique. The company produces titanium feedstocks, including ilmenite as its primary product and rutile, alongside primary zircon, mineral sands concentrates and a small quantity of monazite containing rare-earth elements; these heavy mineral products, which represent key raw materials for titanium dioxide pigment, ceramics, paints, plastics, cosmetics and clean technology applications, are supplied to approximately 25 customers across more than 15 countries, primarily in China, the rest of Asia and Europe. Founded with a presence in Mozambique for over 30 years and commencing commercial production at Moma in 2009, Kenmare maintains headquarters in Dublin, Ireland, and lists on the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Dublin under the ticker KMR. In recent developments, Kenmare completed the upgrade of its largest mining facility, Wet Concentrator Plant A, incorporating two new high-capacity dredges and a feed preparation module with desliming circuit at a capital cost of $341 million to address higher slime content in the Nataka ore zone; commissioning began in October 2025 with ramp-up through year-end ahead of physical transition from Namalope in Q2 2026, securing production for over 20 years as Nataka holds approximately 70% of Moma's mineral resources, though 2025 production guidance was revised downward to 870,000-905,000 tonnes of ilmenite plus co-products due to commissioning delays. The company terminated acquisition discussions in June 2025 with a consortium led by Oryx Global Partners and Managing Director Michael Carvill after due diligence revealed valuation misalignments.
