Hantop Inc. is a South Korea-based agricultural and food manufacturing company primarily engaged in wheat flour milling and compound animal feed production. Established in June 1959 as Yeongnam Flour Mills Co., Ltd. and rebranded to Hantop Inc. in 2015, the company is headquartered in Busan, South Korea, and operates manufacturing facilities across Busan and Yangsan, Gyeongsangnam-do. Hantop Inc. operates through two core business divisions: Flour Milling and Animal Feed. The Flour Milling Division manufactures and supplies approximately 40 varieties of wheat flour under its proprietary Sunflower brand, including strong flour for bread and bakery products; medium flour for noodles and general food processing; weak flour for confectionery, pastries, and biscuits; customized specialty blends; and milling by-products such as wheat bran. The Animal Feed Division develops and produces over 70 types of specialized compound livestock feeds under the Sunflower brand, catering to cattle, including beef and dairy cattle feeds; swine, including sow, piglet, and finishing feeds; and poultry, including layer and broiler feeds. In addition to its primary agribusiness lines, Hantop Inc. manages a diversified portfolio of consolidated subsidiaries, including Qhas Inc. for food processing and manufacturing; Cheonglim Farm Co., Ltd. for livestock farming; KI Works Co., Ltd. for medical device manufacturing; Choice Pro-Tech Co., Ltd. for industrial protective tape and film production; SB Co., Ltd. for automotive maintenance and repair services; and SB Investment Co., Ltd. for venture capital and startup investment. In recent operational and financial developments, Hantop Inc. has implemented corporate value enhancement programs focused on the strategic utilization and monetization of its investment real estate and headquarter properties, completed third-party allotment capital increases to reinforce working capital and financial liquidity, and restructured supply chain and feed formulation operations to mitigate global raw material price volatility across its domestic distribution networks.
