Business
IHSUNGCNI Co., Ltd. is a South Korea-based engineering company specializing in instrumentation and control (I&C) engineering, power plant maintenance, and electrical construction services for nuclear, hydroelectric, and thermal power facilities as well as petrochemical and industrial plants. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Busan, South Korea, the company operates across the South Korean domestic market and selectively participates in overseas plant engineering projects in regions such as the United Arab Emirates. The company delivers solutions structured across four primary business divisions: Power Plant Maintenance, System Engineering, Electrical and Instrumentation Construction, and Nuclear Specialized Technologies. Its comprehensive product and service portfolio comprises routine, commissioning, and planned preventive maintenance for reactor I&C systems across major nuclear facilities including the Kori, Shin-Kori, Hanul, and Shin-Hanul power plants; maintenance, troubleshooting, and tuning of Man-Machine Interface Systems (MMIS); digital Distributed Control System (DCS) design and manufacturing; boiler, turbine, and burner control system engineering; plant control algorithm design and control loop tuning; radiation monitoring system equipment including the iPC500s RISC microprocessor-based preamplifier; localized controllers including the iLC-100; electronic circuit card performance testers; damaged nuclear fuel inspection systems; integrated training simulation control systems; and electrical and instrumentation engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for power generation, substations, industrial chemical facilities, and railway rolling stock electrical systems. In recent strategic developments, IHSUNGCNI has advanced its corporate transition toward a listing transfer from the Korea New Exchange (KONEX: 379390) to the KOSDAQ market, supported by securing a top-tier TI-2 rating in investment technology evaluations. The company has also diversified its nuclear lifecycle capabilities by entering the nuclear decommissioning sector through maintenance operations for the permanently shut down Kori Unit 1 reactor, obtaining regulatory approval for commercial tritium handling to commercialize radioisotope applications, pursuing regulatory licensing for hydrogen fuel cell power generation projects, and expanding its global engineering footprint through Middle Eastern maintenance initiatives.
