In recent developments, Hitachi Energy India announces robust Q2FY26 results with a strong orderbook, resilient margins, and growth in transmission and renewables; expands its Mysuru facility for global supply of ultra low-carbon transformer-grade pressboard; and invests approximately Rs 2,000 crore over 4-5 years in manufacturing capacity including large power transformers, testing capabilities, bushings relocation, traction transformers for railways, network control solutions, Grid eXpand, Grid eMotion, and medium-voltage REF650 products to support energy transition, offshore wind, and electric mobility. The company marks 75 years in India in 2024, having pioneered over half of the nation's HVDC links and partnered with Indian Railways on Scott Transformers for high-speed rail and metro automation; it also strengthens local supply chains under Make in India for domestic and export markets. These initiatives align with Hitachi Energy's $6 billion global investment in manufacturing, engineering, digitalization, R&D, and partnerships.
