KAMCO Investment Company K.S.C.P., commercially known as Kamco Invest, is a regional financial services company providing asset management, investment banking, brokerage, and investment research services to institutional investors, corporate clients, and high-net-worth individuals. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Kuwait City, Kuwait, the company is listed on Boursa Kuwait and operates as a core financial subsidiary within the KIPCO (Kuwait Projects Company) Group. The company operates through three principal business segments: Asset Management, Investment Banking, and Brokerage. Its Asset Management division offers discretionary and non-discretionary portfolio management; conventional and Islamic mutual funds covering regional equities, fixed income, and money market instruments; alternative investment management, including direct and indirect commercial real estate investments across the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States; private equity funds and direct co-investment opportunities; customized investment mandates; and custody services. Its Investment Banking division provides equity capital markets advisory, comprising initial public offerings, rights issues, and private equity placements; debt capital markets services, including corporate bond issuances, sovereign and corporate sukuk structuring, and debt syndication; mergers and acquisitions advisory; corporate restructuring; financial valuation; and general corporate finance advisory. Its Brokerage division, operated via subsidiary brokerage entities including First Securities Brokerage Company, provides institutional and retail trading execution across regional and international exchanges, margin financing, and market-making services. The firm also maintains a proprietary investment portfolio and an equity and macroeconomic research unit covering MENA capital markets. Geographically, the firm maintains operational presence and regulated entities in Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates through the Dubai International Financial Centre, and the United Kingdom. In recent developments, Kamco Invest expanded its European presence by establishing an office in London to originate and structure alternative investments and international real estate transactions, while expanding its wealth management operations in Saudi Arabia. The firm has acted as joint lead manager and financial advisor on significant regional debt and equity transactions, including Tier 2 subordinated bond issuances for major financial institutions such as National Bank of Kuwait and multiple bank equity capital increases. The company has grown its total assets under management to approximately USD 17 billion and modernized its operational infrastructure by adopting enterprise-wide Bloomberg AIM and PORT solutions to automate investment workflows, enhance portfolio management, and optimize risk analytics.
