- Kestrel Gold Inc. (TSX-V: KGC, OTC: KSTBF) is a Canada-based early-stage mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration, and evaluation of gold and silver properties within the Canadian Cordillera. The company holds a 100% interest in the QCM property, an 8,729-hectare orogenic gold target spanning a 15-kilometer strike length along the Manson Fault Zone in the Manson-Germanson placer district of central British Columbia, featuring the Main Zone with drill results of 0.78 g/t Au over 99.6 meters and the 14 Vein discovery of 2.33 g/t Au over 44.19 meters; the King Solomon's Dome (KSD) property, an orogenic gold target at a 1,230-meter topographical high in the Dawson Mining District of Yukon's Tintina Gold Belt; and the Fireweed property, a late-stage silver-rich polymetallic epithermal target in the Babine Lake area northeast of Smithers, British Columbia. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Kestrel targets bulk-tonnage gold mineralization through replacement and vein-style deposits in placer gold districts, subject to net smelter return royalties of 2-2.5% with buy-down provisions. In 2024, Kestrel entered a strategic option agreement with Centerra Gold Inc., granting Centerra an exclusive right to earn a 75% interest in QCM via $900,000 in cash payments and $6.5 million in exploration expenditures including at least 13,500 meters of drilling by May 2029; Centerra continued the partnership in 2025 with an approved $4 million program featuring 7,430 meters of diamond drilling focused on Main Zone, 14 Vein, and additional showings, reinforcing QCM's multi-zone potential.
