Linamar Corporation (TSX: LNR; OTC: LIMAF) manufactures precision components, assemblies and systems for the mobility, industrial, agriculture and MedTech sectors; its Mobility segment produces propulsion systems including electric axles (eAxles) such as eUD10, eLD05, eMD15, e3P4100 and 3P series gearboxes, driveline components like differentials, power transfer units, transmission gears, shafts, clutch modules and cases, engine parts including cylinder blocks, heads, connecting rods, camshafts and turbocharger housings, structural and chassis elements such as axle shafts, steering knuckles, wheel hubs, subframes, battery enclosures and shock towers, plus eLIN electrification solutions encompassing power generation like fuel cell powertrains, power storage including FlexForm conformable hydrogen tanks and auxiliary battery packs; the Industrial segment offers aerial work platforms through Skyjack and agricultural equipment via MacDon and Linamar Agriculture; Linamar MedTech provides manufacturing for medical devices and precision components. Founded in 1966 and headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, the company operates 65 manufacturing locations, 14 R&D centers and 28 sales offices across 17 countries in North America, South America, Europe and Asia, with regional groups in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific plus dedicated Linamar Structures and eLIN product solutions groups featuring vertically integrated capabilities in light metal casting, forging, machining, assembly, metal forming, hydroforming, heat treatment, robotic welding and advanced automation. Recent developments include the November 2025 completion of its $300 million USD acquisition of select Aludyne North America assets to enhance structural casting capabilities, the October 2025 announcement to acquire George Fischer’s Leipzig facility, the 2023 acquisitions of Dura-Shiloh’s battery enclosure facilities and Mobex’s chassis and suspension assets, and a 2023 agreement to purchase Bourgault Industries for agricultural expansion; Linamar anticipates new product launches to add $500-700 million in 2025 sales while repurchasing shares under its NCIB program initiated in November 2024.
