Business
Gunsynd Plc is a United Kingdom-based investing company that acquires companies and projects primarily within the natural resources sector, with additional focus on life sciences including plant-based nutrition and environmentally friendly food alternatives, and the alcoholic beverage sector concentrating on production ingredients such as sugar cane, agave and molasses; the company evaluates opportunities across all sectors for shareholder value generation and invests via minority stakes, full ownership, direct acquisitions, farm-ins, joint ventures, debt or equity structures in quoted or unquoted entities. Gunsynd holds 100% interests in early-stage Canadian exploration projects including the Falcon Lake and Merlin uranium-copper projects totalling 9,307 hectares in Nunavut, the Bear Twit volcanogenic massive sulphide zinc-lead-copper project covering 17,000 hectares in the Northwest Territories, and the Barb and Hornby Basin gold projects; it maintains financial stakes in 1911 Gold Corporation with 2,770,000 shares and warrants for gold exploration in Manitoba Canada, 6.25% of Finnaust Mining Northern OY's Black Schist nickel project in Finland through a farm-in with Metals One Plc, 2,000,000 shares in Strategic Minerals Europe Ltd for nickel-copper-cobalt exploration in Scotland via Aberdeen Minerals Ltd, approximately 0.66% of Low6 Limited's B2B sports pool betting platform, and 18,016,501 shares or 3.03% of Richmond Hill Resources Plc following conversion of loans upon its October 2025 AIM admission as a Quebec copper explorer after rebranding from Rogue Baron Plc; minor holdings include Oyster Oil & Gas and other unlisted/listed investments. The company, founded in 1936 and headquartered at 78 Pall Mall in London, shifted strategy during the year ended 31 July 2025 to prioritise privately owned North American exploration assets in zinc, copper, gold and uranium, liquidating most listed Canadian and Australian stocks while advancing field work at Bear Twit and Barb projects with high-grade rock chip results averaging over 15% copper at Falcon and above 1,000 ppm uranium at Merlin; recent actions encompass a November 2025 term sheet to acquire 10% of the Eagle Gold Project in Ontario Canada for £170,000 cash and shares, August 2025 acquisition of additional Canadian uranium licences, issuance of shares as consideration for Hornby Basin and exploration cost reimbursements, conversion of Rogue Baron loans into Richmond Hill equity, a placing and fundraise boosting cash to £439,000 with net assets of £2,141,000, grant of director options totalling 122.5 million shares, and progression of investee drilling programs at Aberdeen Minerals and resource updates at Black Schist. Gunsynd operates geographically across Europe, North America including Canada and the US, Australia and the Caribbean, targeting medium- to long-term growth through active or passive involvement, board influence, expertise provision and access to finance, with potential for reverse takeovers subject to shareholder approval.
