Founded in 1987 through the merger of Louis Vuitton and Moët Hennessy and headquartered at 22 Avenue Montaigne in Paris's 8th arrondissement, LVMH conducts operations worldwide across more than 80 countries with over 6,300 stores and regional hubs in the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Japan, and the Middle East. In recent developments, LVMH's Luxury Ventures fund invested in Db, a premium Scandinavian luggage brand, in December 2024 to support its global expansion; acquired a minority stake in niche fragrance house BDK Parfums in late 2024; purchased Swiss clockmaker Swiza (owner of L'Epée 1839) in June 2024 and a stake in La Joux-Perret in November 2025; and gained preferred buyer status for up to 54.9% of Giorgio Armani following its founder's death in September 2025.
