Business
Lyons Bancorp Inc. is a financial holding company for The Lyons National Bank, a community-focused commercial bank serving individuals and small businesses primarily in Wayne, Onondaga, Ontario, Seneca, Monroe, Yates and Cayuga counties in central New York. The bank offers personal banking products including checking, savings, retirement, money market, HSA, club accounts and certificates of deposit; personal lending such as home improvement, recreational, personal, home equity loans and variable home equity lines of credit; business banking encompassing business checking, savings, retirement and account services; commercial and residential real estate loans for 1-4 family properties; agricultural real estate, commercial, agricultural and consumer installment loans; and financial services comprising retirement strategies, investment management, education savings, life insurance, long-term care insurance, employer and employee benefits. Lyons Bancorp, formed in August 1987 and headquartered at 35 William Street in Lyons, New York, traces its banking roots to 1852 through predecessor institutions that merged in 1933; its common stock trades over-the-counter under the ticker LYBC. In November 2025, the company announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.43 per share payable January 2026, a special one-time dividend of $0.10 per share payable December 2025 and a share buyback plan authorizing up to $5 million in repurchases through December 2026, funded by internally generated capital to support shareholder value and long-term growth.
