Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: LYV) is the world's leading live entertainment company that promotes live music events, operates venues, produces music festivals, and provides ticketing and sponsorship services worldwide; its core segments include Concerts, which handles artist promotion, venue management through brands such as Live Nation Concerts and Artist Nation (encompassing Front Line Management and Roc Nation), and festival production; Ticketing, primarily through Ticketmaster, which offers primary ticketing software, services, and resale marketplaces via livenation.com and ticketmaster.com for arenas, stadiums, amphitheaters, sports teams, theaters, and other venues; and Sponsorship & Advertising, which delivers marketing solutions through Live Nation Sponsorship. The company owns, operates, or leases hundreds of entertainment venues globally, serving fans, artists, brands, and clients across North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and other regions. Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, Live Nation Entertainment recently expanded through key strategic moves, including accelerating the acquisition of an additional 24% stake in Mexican promoter Ocesa to reach 75% ownership in 2025, acquiring a majority stake in influencer management firm Timeline in December 2024 to bolster its Artist Nation division, entering Malta's market via a stake in 356 Entertainment Group in April 2025, forging new multi-year partnerships with Trip.com across Asia, Mastercard in markets including Hong Kong, Middle East, and South Africa, and brands such as Hollister, Kraft Heinz, and Patrón as reported in its third quarter 2025 earnings, alongside partnering with Copenhagen’s Royal Arena.
