Business
Alia Mentis S.p.A. is an Italy-based deep-tech advanced materials engineering company that specializes in the research, design, development, and industrial production of carbon fiber composite structures and impact-absorbing materials. The company operates through two core business segments: Composite Manufacturing Technologies and Impact-Absorbing Materials. Its proprietary product and technology portfolio includes Koridion, an advanced platform utilizing active thermo-expandable cores that enables single-step manufacturing of complex hollow composite structures; Equalizer, an industrial process module engineered as a scalable, high-efficiency alternative to conventional autoclaves and presses; Xelion, a high-performance functional composite material engineered for energy dissipation and impact absorption; custom lightweight structural components for hypercars and aerospace applications; and protective safety equipment, including military-grade inserts and specialized helmet absorption layers. In addition to proprietary manufacturing, the company provides end-to-end industrial services comprising computer-aided engineering and design; rapid prototyping; precision quality diagnostics; technology integration; and intellectual property licensing and royalty arrangements. Alia Mentis serves original equipment manufacturers and Tier-1 suppliers across the luxury automotive, motorsport, aerospace, defense, and specialized sports equipment industries, maintaining commercial partnerships with enterprises including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Leonardo, and Geven. Recent corporate developments include the completion of its initial public offering on the Euronext Growth Milan exchange in June 2026 under the ticker ALMS, raising approximately 35 million euros to accelerate industrial scaling; a major strategic growth equity investment by Axon Partners Group; and the construction of an advanced non-destructive testing bunker facility at its main production plant to house a large-format industrial computed tomography diagnostic system for automotive and aerospace structural inspection. Founded in 2012 by Chief Executive Officer Giuseppe Paronetto, Alia Mentis S.p.A. is headquartered in Montebelluna, Italy, and distributes its technologies and products across domestic and international markets.
