Mitsubishi Corporation (MSBHF) operates as a global integrated business enterprise that develops, invests in and manages diverse operations across multiple industries through eight principal business groups: Environmental Energy, Materials Solution, Mineral Resources, Urban Development & Infrastructure, Mobility, Food Industry, Smart-Life Creation and Power Solution; core activities encompass natural gas and LNG trading and development including Brunei and Australia projects, petroleum solutions, steel products, carbon and ceramic materials, petrochemicals and functional chemicals, copper and lithium mining alongside ferrous raw materials, industrial infrastructure projects such as plants and machinery, automotive and e-mobility solutions encompassing battery supply chains and Isuzu partnerships, food ingredients and resources like grains, marine products and agrochemicals, consumer retail including convenience stores and logistics, renewable power generation, and urban real estate development with digital infrastructure. The company maintains an extensive global footprint with offices and subsidiaries in approximately 90 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, East Asia and Oceania, serving industrial, consumer and energy markets worldwide. Founded in 1950 and headquartered at 3-1 Marunouchi 2-Chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan, Mitsubishi Corporation oversees around 1,800 group companies including 842 subsidiaries and 354 affiliates as of late 2025.
