Founded in 1941 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the company operates through five key segments: Leasing, which provides office buildings, retail facilities, and other commercial properties; Property Sales, offering condominiums and detached houses to individuals as well as rental housing and office buildings to investors; Management, delivering property management, brokerage, and asset management services; Facility Operations, encompassing hotels, resorts, sports facilities, entertainment venues such as Tokyo Dome, and logistics facilities; and Other, including new construction contracts and facility sales. It serves diverse customers including individuals, corporations, investors, and institutional tenants across residential, commercial, office, hospitality, logistics, and entertainment sectors, with activities spanning Japan, North America, Europe, Asia, and emerging markets like India. The Mitsui Fudosan Group comprises 437 companies and employs 1,928 people as of March 2025, generating approximately 2,625.3 billion yen in operating revenue in fiscal 2024. Recently, Mitsui Fudosan formed a strategic alliance with ITOCHU Corporation in August 2024 for logistics and industrial real estate, including facilities, factories, and data centers, following the merger of their sponsored REITs Advance Logistics Investment Corporation and Mitsui Fudosan Logistics Park; announced in September 2025 a partnership with Cellares to develop Japan's first IDMO Smart Factory for commercial-scale cell therapy manufacturing in Kashiwa City; launched its long-term vision & INNOVATION 2030 in 2024 to drive core business growth, new asset classes, and business domains; began construction in April 2025 on Mitsui Fudosan Industrial Park (MFIP) Ebina &forest as an industry creation hub; and plans significant expansion in India with 30-35 billion yen investment in office and other projects, building on its 2020 joint venture with RMZ Corp in Bengaluru.
