(MTX) is a technology-driven specialty minerals company that develops, produces and markets a broad range of mineral-based products and engineered solutions for consumer and industrial applications worldwide; core offerings span performance minerals including precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC) for paper and packaging, bentonite-based products for metalcasting (green sand bonding agents), household and personal care (litter, sealants), pet care, food and pharmaceuticals, specialty additives, and engineered systems for steelmaking, environmental remediation, wastewater treatment, construction, infrastructure and automotive sectors. Headquartered in New York City and founded in 1992 as a spin-off from Pfizer Inc., the company operates over 150 production facilities across more than 35 countries, leveraging extensive global mineral reserves of bentonite, calcium carbonate and talc, proprietary satellite PCC plants at customer sites, and robust R&D capabilities to serve diverse end markets with vertically integrated mine-to-market processes emphasizing sustainability and innovation.
