- Texwinca Holdings Limited is a Bermuda-incorporated investment holding company engaged in the production, dyeing and sale of knitted fabrics, yarns and garments; the retailing and distribution of casual apparel and accessories under the Baleno brand; and other activities including franchise services and property investment. The company offers yarn spinning, fabric knitting, dyeing and finishing services; produces and exports garments; retails casual apparel and accessories through physical stores and e-commerce platforms; and provides franchise and royalty income, machine trading, management services, export trading, trademark holding and property leasing. Founded in 1975 and headquartered in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong, Texwinca operates manufacturing bases primarily in Mainland China (Dongguan and Henan), Vietnam and Hong Kong, with retail presence in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Indonesia; it serves markets including the United States, Japan and other international regions, and is a subsidiary of Farrow Star Limited.
The textile and garment segment, which contributes the majority of revenue, recorded HK$4,376 million in sales for the year ended March 31, 2025, driven by the ramp-up of its Vietnam facility established through a 2024 subsidiary acquisition that enabled a China-Vietnam dual-location production model to secure additional orders from Japanese and North American retailers seeking diversified supply chains; in August 2025, the company initiated Phase II expansion at the Vietnam site to boost knitted fabric capacity starting in 2026. The retail segment, centered on Baleno, achieved HK$1,207 million in revenue for the same period amid network optimization, closing underperforming stores (net 94 in Mainland China) while growing e-commerce gross merchandise value by 170.1% year-on-year to HK$659 million through functionality-focused and value-for-money offerings on major platforms. On March 28, 2024, Texwinca entered lease agreements with related companies for directors' quarters, retail outlets, a training center and parking in Hong Kong and Mainland China; board changes in August 2025 included the appointment of Mr. Wu Chi Hang as Executive Director to oversee Hong Kong and Mainland China retail operations; the year ended March 31, 2025, featured a HK$89 million gain from government resumption of Guangzhou warehouses, alongside elevated finance costs from Vietnam expansion financing and impacts from Red Sea freight disruptions and US tariff policies implemented since April 2025.
