(MXL) designs, develops and sells high-performance radio frequency (RF), analog, digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits and software solutions that enable multi-gigabit connectivity for broadband communications, networking and infrastructure applications; core products span access solutions including Puma 8 DOCSIS 4.0 cable modems and gateways, AnyWAN converged gateway processors, xDSL/G.fast transceivers and PON optical networking units; connectivity offerings such as Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 SoCs, MoCA and G.hn wired solutions, Ethernet PHYs and switches; infrastructure products like Sierra single-chip 4G/5G Open RAN radio units, PAM4 DSPs for 400G/800G optical interconnects including MxL9364x/MxL9368x, RF transceivers for wireless backhaul, Panther V storage accelerators with 450Gbps throughput and 15:1 data reduction; and industrial solutions encompassing power management ICs, interfaces, UARTs and timing devices. The fabless semiconductor company, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Carlsbad, California, operates globally across North America, Europe/Middle East, Asia/South Asia and other regions including Israel, India, Japan and Korea, serving cable operators, telcos, OEMs, data centers, hyperscalers and enterprises such as Dell, Meta, Comcast and Vodafone.
