- Ecomate Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company primarily engaged in the design, development, manufacture, marketing, and export of ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture, as well as the provision of information and communications technology (ICT) solutions. The company operates through two principal business segments: Furniture Manufacturing and ICT Solutions. Its furniture manufacturing division, operated through wholly-owned subsidiary Ecomate Sdn. Bhd., specializes in flat-pack residential furniture crafted from medium-density fibreboard (MDF) and particle board. The company's product portfolio encompasses living room furniture, including television cabinets, coffee tables, console tables, side tables, shoe cabinets, and multi-function storage units; bedroom furniture, including bed frames, wardrobes, dressing tables, nightstands, chest drawers, bookshelves, and study desks; and utility and dining furniture, including dining tables, kitchen cabinets, and bar cabinets. Its ICT Solutions division, managed through majority-owned subsidiary Progressive Computer Systems Sdn. Bhd., provides commercial computer hardware and peripheral systems; software licensing, distribution, and subscription services; and enterprise IT support and systems maintenance. Ecomate markets its products globally to furniture distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and e-commerce operators across more than 30 countries throughout Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Australasia, and Africa. Founded in 2016 and incorporated as a holding corporation in 2020, Ecomate Holdings Berhad is headquartered in Muar, Johor, Malaysia. In recent corporate developments, the company diversified into enterprise technology by acquiring a 60 percent equity stake in Progressive Computer Systems Sdn. Bhd., subsequently securing major multimillion-ringgit commercial software distribution and ICT contracts. These operational developments follow the successful transfer of the company's listing from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, accompanied by capital management and corporate restructuring programs including bonus share and warrant issuances to support ongoing business expansion.
