- Farmiera Berhad is an integrated poultry farming and poultry processing company based in Malaysia. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Klang, Selangor, the company operates across the midstream and downstream segments of the commercial poultry value chain, encompassing broiler chicken farming, wholesale distribution of live birds, and the secondary processing and distribution of poultry meat products. Farmiera Berhad structures its business into two primary operating divisions: Poultry Farming and Poultry Processing. The Poultry Farming division is engaged in the commercial rearing, feeding, and biosecurity management of broiler chickens across a network of self-operated farms and contract farming operations across Peninsular Malaysia, including Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Pahang, and Melaka; and the trading and wholesale supply of live broilers to livestock traders, distributors, and wet market operators. The Poultry Processing division operates dedicated, Halal-certified processing plants in Lukut, Negeri Sembilan, and Ipoh, Perak, providing automated slaughtering, evisceration, custom butchering, packaging, and cold-chain storage services. The company's core product portfolio includes Halal-certified whole dressed chickens; cut-up portions, including wings, drumsticks, thighs, and breast meat; boneless and skinless poultry cuts; and assorted chicken parts and offal distributed to food service providers, restaurant chains, hypermarkets, supermarkets, institutional catering clients, and poultry retailers. In recent major developments, Farmiera Berhad completed its initial public offering and listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia in November 2025 under the ticker FAMIERA, raising RM29.25 million in gross proceeds. To achieve upstream vertical integration and bolster supply chain self-sufficiency, the company allocated the majority of its IPO proceeds toward the construction and development of two parent stock farms and an in-house hatchery facility to internalize day-old chick production and reduce reliance on third-party breeders. Furthermore, the company has expanded its regional contract broiler network and enhanced automated cold-chain logistics capabilities to support higher output volumes.
