- MMIS Berhad is a Malaysia-based precision engineering and manufacturing solutions provider specializing in the fabrication of high-precision machined parts, sheet metal components, and mechanical sub-assemblies. Founded in 2007 and headquartered in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia, the company operates primarily through its wholly owned subsidiary, Multi Mould Industry Sdn. Bhd., serving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and multinational corporations across the semiconductor, automated test equipment (ATE), electrical and electronics (E&E), medical device, and industrial automation sectors.
The company operates through three principal business segments: Precision Machining, Sheet Metal Fabrication, and Mechanical Assembly. Its core product and service offerings comprise: high-precision Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling and CNC turning components engineered to micron-level tolerances; precision sheet metal enclosures, brackets, panels, and structural machine frames produced via CNC laser cutting, CNC turret punching, precision bending, and welding; custom tooling, jigs, fixtures, and test socket components for automated testing equipment; cleanroom and ESD-controlled mechanical sub-assemblies and modular box-build integrations; and surface finishing solutions including anodizing, electroplating, chemical blackening, powder coating, and heat treatment.
MMIS Berhad maintains its primary manufacturing plants and administrative operations in Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia, distributing its precision components to domestic manufacturing hubs as well as international export markets throughout the Asia-Pacific region, North America, and Europe.
In recent strategic developments, MMIS Berhad has executed corporate and operational expansions to scale production capacity and elevate its capital market profile. The company initiated the proposed transfer of its listing status from the LEAP Market to the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia to enhance share liquidity, institutional investor participation, and fundraising agility. To meet escalating component demand driven by the global semiconductor and advanced automation supply chains, MMIS Berhad expanded its manufacturing footprint through the acquisition and commissioning of additional factory space in Kedah. Furthermore, the company upgraded its capital equipment by deploying multi-axis high-speed CNC machining centers, automated robotic material handlers, and advanced quality assurance metrology systems, including automated Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), while broadening its turnkey mechanical box-build assembly services for global equipment makers.
