JOGMEC is actively funding the project's exploration and development, aiming to earn a significant interest, which also provides Namibia Critical Metals with a carried interest, reducing shareholder dilution. With an updated Environmental Clearance Certificate in place, the company is progressing toward completing a Pre-Feasibility Study for the expanded Lofdal 2B-4 project. Additionally, Namibia Critical Metals has entered into an agreement for the potential sale of thorium, a byproduct of the Lofdal operations, creating a new revenue opportunity. Originally established in 2010 as Namibia Rare Earths Inc., the company adopted its current name in May 2018 and is headquartered in Halifax, Canada.
