DCM Shriram Limited is a diversified Indian conglomerate primarily engaged in the agri-rural, chemicals & vinyl, and value-added businesses. Founded in 1919 and headquartered in New Delhi, the company operates across India with a focus on sectors including fertilizers, sugar, ethanol, farm inputs, chemical manufacturing, and building materials. Its core products include urea and SSP fertilizers; sugar and ethanol; hybrid seeds and farm inputs marketing; caustic soda, chlorine, calcium carbide, PVC resins, and PVC compounds; as well as power and cement. The company also markets branded building solutions through Fenesta Building Systems, offering UPVC and aluminum doors and windows. Recent major developments include DCM Shriram's strategic acquisition of a 100% stake in Hindustan Specialty Chemicals Limited (HSCL), marking its entry into the advanced materials segment, including epoxy and specialty chemicals, to bolster its chemical business. The company also formed a long-term strategic partnership with Aarti Industries for chlorine supply and established a collaborative joint venture with U.S.-based Bioseeds Genetic International focused on hybrid seed production. Additionally, Fenesta Building Systems expanded retail operations and entered into a strategic partnership with UAE's Inventure Metal Products Industries LLC to elevate India's façade industry. DCM Shriram is actively investing in capacity expansions and integrating backward and forward operations, including an advancing aluminum extrusion facility project. The company targets agricultural consumers and industrial clients throughout India, emphasizing sustainability and innovation in its product development, alongside expanding its footprint in specialty chemicals and advanced building materials. With a turnover exceeding Rs. 12,700 crore, DCM Shriram continues to evolve its portfolio to capture growth in high-value-added segments while maintaining strong positions in traditional agricultural inputs and chemical production. The leadership includes Ajay S. Shriram as Chairman and Vikram S. Shriram as Vice Chairman, supported by a professional executive team driving its multi-segment business strategy. This comprehensive industrial presence and recent strategic initiatives reflect DCM Shriram's commitment to growth through diversification, operational synergy, and market expansion in India and beyond.
