Business
Vasa Denticity Ltd. (NSE: DENTALKART) operates as an e-commerce platform specializing in the marketing and distribution of dental products in India. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio including dental consumables such as adhesives, filling materials, and impression materials; dental equipment such as chairs, x-ray machines, autoclaves, ultrasonic scalers, endomotors, and LED light cure units; dental instruments such as forceps, probes, mirrors, cotton holders, and implant instruments; and specialized products for orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, restorative dentistry, paedodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, implantology, sterilization, laboratory use, patient education models, new clinic setup kits, clinical problem solvers, pharmacy items, hand sanitizers, and medical supplies. It maintains over 20,000 SKUs from 30 owned brands including Waldent, Endoking, SuperEndo, and UUortho, alongside tie-ups with more than 300 domestic and international brands, sold primarily through its online portal Dentalkart.com and mobile application from a centralized distribution hub in Gurugram. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in New Delhi, the company targets dental professionals across India, serving over 250,000 dentists with a digital-first omnichannel model. In August 2025, Vasa Denticity acquired a 51% stake in IDS Denmed Pvt. Ltd., India's largest traditional dental distributor, through a mix of cash and share swap, creating the country's largest integrated dental supply network with offline reach to over 90% of dental clinics and plans for AI-driven inventory, financing, and education initiatives. The deal, pending NSE approval as of November 2025, combines Dentalkart's online platform with IDS Denmed's established dealer network, enhancing sourcing, warehousing, logistics, and last-mile delivery efficiencies. The company went public via an SME IPO on NSE Emerge in May 2023, raising Rs 54.07 crore to fund working capital, brand visibility, and general corporate purposes, following prior funding rounds totaling Rs 85 crore from investors like Maven India Fund. These moves support ongoing expansions in owned brands, which now account for about 50% of sales, and global operations amid strong revenue growth.
