Business
Milton Industries Limited is an India-based manufacturer and supplier of PVC coated fabrics, technical textiles, vinyl floor coverings, PVC foam sheets, and high-performance composite paneling solutions. Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company primarily serves the railway transit, automotive, defense, interior construction, and consumer goods sectors. Its product portfolio comprises PVC coated fabrics and artificial leather for automotive upholstery, bus passenger seating, footwear, luggage, and commercial furnishings; transit-grade PVC floor coverings, including anti-skid, heavy-duty vinyl flooring for railway coaches and buses; rigid and semi-rigid PVC foam sheets and cellular boards for interior partitions, ceilings, and architectural panelling; decorative and industrial high-pressure laminates; and Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) sheets, window frame mouldings, honeycomb composite panels, and modular interior panels for mass transport vehicles. The company operates manufacturing facilities across Gujarat, India, supplying domestic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), Tier-1 automotive suppliers, and public sector transport agencies, notably the Indian Railways. In recent developments, Milton Industries has expanded its specialized composite and technical interior offerings by launching fire-retardant, high-strength GFRP panelling and modular interior assemblies compliant with modern safety and fire-hazard standards to support rolling stock modernization initiatives, including the Vande Bharat and LHB coach fleets. The company has also upgraded its extrusion and coating lines to scale production capacities for next-generation synthetic leather and transit composites, while expanding its distribution network to serve international markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
