Business
Pyramid Technoplast Limited, an established industrial packaging enterprise, specializes in the production and supply of molded polymer-based products across India. The company manufactures various bulk containers, including high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic drums, rigid Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) with a 1,000-liter capacity, and Mild Steel (MS) drums. These solutions are primarily utilized by the chemical, agrochemical, specialty chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors for packaging a wide array of liquids, semi-solids, and solids. Additionally, their products serve industries such as lubricants, edible oil, paint, coating, and medical waste. Operating with a robust network of seven manufacturing facilities, including multiple units in Bharuch, Gujarat, and Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, with an eighth unit planned in Maharashtra and a recycling plant under development, the company ensures efficient production and delivery. Pyramid Technoplast has secured UN certification for its IBCs and MS drums, affirming their compliance with stringent safety standards for transporting hazardous materials. The company leverages advanced blow molding technology for its polymer drums and IBCs, alongside injection molding for in-house production of closures. With a notable approximately 40% market share in India's IBC segment, the company serves over 500 customers under the Pyramid brand. Recently, the company successfully completed its Initial Public Offering in August 2023 and has embarked on strategic initiatives, including commissioning a 6 MW captive solar power plant in Gujarat in October 2025 to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency. Incorporated in 1997, Pyramid Technoplast Limited maintains its corporate presence in Mumbai, India.
