In recent years, Schaeffler India invests Rs 1,700 crore from 2022-2024 to expand powertrain, e-mobility, and bearing production capabilities, exceeding its initial Rs 1,500 crore commitment; it inaugurates a new 16,500 sqm manufacturing plant in Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu, in 2025 for transmission components like planetary gears and hybrid modules to support localization and 'Make in India'; the company acquires KRSV Innovative Auto Solutions Pvt Ltd (Koovers), a B2B e-commerce platform, in 2023 to bolster its digital automotive aftermarket presence; and Schaeffler AG's subsidiary completes the acquisition of Dhruva Automation & Controls in late 2024 to enhance industrial automation solutions in India and Asia.
