Thacker and Company Limited engages primarily in real estate activities with owned or leased property, other financial services, and trading activities in India. Incorporated in 1878 and headquartered in Mumbai, the company operates through Investment & Finance; Business Centre; Trading Business, including scanners and related imaging products, baking accessories, ingredients, tools and equipment for pastry and cake decoration under the Cakesmiths division launched in 2014; and other unallocable segments. It serves private and public limited companies, proprietary and partnership firms through loans and advances; provides sales and after-sales support for imaging and printing solutions; and conducts real estate operations, with a historical focus on the Thacker 5 encompassing investments, finance, trading, information technology, and fast-moving consumer goods. Owned by the Jatia Group, Thacker and Company Limited is one of the oldest listed companies on the Bombay Stock Exchange and holds subsidiaries such as AMJ Land Holdings Limited and 3P Land Holdings Limited. In 2024-25, its wholly owned subsidiary Fujisan Technologies Limited, launched in 2004 and focused on information technology, merged with the company effective July 2, 2024; the company also ceased non-banking financial company activities in 2017 by surrendering its RBI registration.
