In recent developments, the Company expanded its regional aquafeed manufacturing footprint through Tunga Nutrition, its 50:50 joint venture with Nutreco, inaugurating an expanded production facility in Nairobi equipped with specialized extrusion machinery and a zero-carbon biomass boiler that increased annual fish feed capacity from 24,000 to 45,000 metric tons. Additionally, the Group executed extensive supply chain optimizations and operational restructuring initiatives that successfully transitioned the business back to overall profitability in the 2025 financial year following improved grain procurement strategies and expanded market penetration in regional livestock feed markets.
