The company produces chocolate and non-chocolate confectionery including HERSHEY'S and REESE'S chocolate bars, KISSES chocolates, TWIZZLERS licorice, and Jolly Rancher hard candies; gum and mint refreshment products such as ICE BREAKERS; salty snacks encompassing SKINNYPOP popcorn, PIRATES BOOTY, Dots Pretzels, and Dot's Homestyle Pretzels; pantry items like baking ingredients, toppings, and beverages; and better-for-you options featuring protein-enhanced snacks, no-added-sugar or zero-sugar products, and plant-based gummies. It operates through three segments--North America Confectionery, North America Salty Snacks, and International--with products available in over 60 countries and primary markets in the U.S. and Canada. Founded in 1894 by Milton S. Hershey and headquartered in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the company maintains three large U.S. distribution centers. Recent developments include the 2025 completion of the LesserEvil acquisition to expand organic better-for-you snacks; launches of HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate with Caramel bars, REESE'S OREO cups, Dot's Homestyle Pretzels Buffalo flavor, and Shaq-A-Licious gummies; and double-digit growth in its 2025 s'mores program alongside salty brands sales increases.
