- Opus One Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of gold and base-metal mineral properties, with activities focused on the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Québec and, historically, northeastern Ontario. The Company’s principal exploration activities comprise geological mapping; prospecting; geochemical, till and induced-polarization surveys; target generation; diamond drilling; core logging, sampling and assay analysis; and evaluation of gold-mineralization systems. Its primary asset is the 100%-owned Noyell Gold Project, located near Matagami in the northern Abitibi Greenstone Belt, where it is advancing the Zone 1 gold discovery and evaluating the West Zone through definition and exploratory drilling. The Company also holds a 100% interest in the Courville gold project near Val-d’Or, Québec, where it has completed an NI 43-101 technical report and plans additional structural work to refine its metallogenic model before further drilling; and has optioned the Fecteau property in the Urban-Barry mining district east of the Windfall area, where mapping, sampling, till surveys and induced-polarization work have generated prospective gold and base-metal drill targets. Opus One Gold Corporation targets prospective, underexplored ground in established mining districts near existing infrastructure and mines, principally serving the mineral-exploration and resource-development sector rather than producing commercial metals. Incorporated in 1979 and formerly known as Opus One Resources Inc., the Company adopted its current name in October 2020 and is headquartered in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Recent operational developments include the resumption and completion of a 2026 drilling program at Noyell; the September 2026 release of final West Zone drilling results from five shallow exploratory holes, which intersected the principal target over approximately 800 metres of strike length and identified the area as a potential definition-drilling target; and June 2026 results from Zone 1, including 11.37 metres grading 4.92 grams per tonne gold in hole NO-26-21a, supporting continuity of high-grade mineralization from surface to at least 700 metres vertical depth while remaining open at depth. In August 2026, the Company received C$502,000 in gross proceeds from the exercise of 10.05 million warrants issued in connection with its August 2024 private placement, and its board cancelled and immediately regranted 15.0 million stock options under its omnibus equity incentive arrangements.
