In recent developments, Schaeffler completed its acquisition and merger with Vitesco Technologies in October 2024, significantly expanding its e-mobility portfolio in power electronics and electrified powertrains while targeting EBIT doubling by 2028 through synergies of 815 million euros annually and structural optimizations including European footprint adjustments announced in November 2024; the company also entered a strategic partnership with Neura Robotics in November 2025 to co-develop actuators and integrate thousands of humanoid robots into its production network by 2035, sold its turbocharger business in China acquired via Vitesco, and invested over USD 230 million in a new greenfield automotive manufacturing facility in Dover, Ohio, creating 650 jobs through 2032.
