Pampa Energía S.A. Pampa Energía S.A. operates as a leading integrated energy company in Argentina, participating across the electricity and natural gas value chains. The company generates electricity through a diversified portfolio of thermal, hydroelectric and wind power plants with approximately 5,472 MW of installed capacity, representing about 13% of Argentina's total; explores and produces oil and natural gas primarily from 11 productive blocks in key basins including Vaca Muerta, Neuquén and Río Negro, averaging 72.7 thousand barrels of oil equivalent per day (96% gas); co-controls Transener, which operates and maintains 86% of the high-voltage transmission grid spanning 22,396 km; co-controls Transportadora de Gas del Sur (TGS), the largest natural gas transporter with 9,248 km of pipelines and a natural gas liquids plant; and produces petrochemicals including styrene, styrene butadiene rubber and polystyrene from two high-complexity plants, holding 93-100% domestic market share. Pampa Energía S.A. serves national interconnected systems, industrial clients, residential and commercial gas customers, and domestic and international petrochemical markets, with primary operations in Argentina. Incorporated in 1945 and headquartered in Buenos Aires, the company has pursued strategic expansions including full ownership of the Rincón de Aranda shale oil block via a 2024 asset swap with Total Austral, development of shale oil production targeting 45 thousand barrels per day by 2027 with over US$1.5 billion investment, participation in the Vaca Muerta Sur oil pipeline project and a floating LNG export initiative alongside partners YPF, Vista and Pan American Energy, commissioning of additional wind capacity reaching 140 MW, completion of combined cycle upgrades at Ensenada Barragán to 848 MW, a US$410 million notes issuance in 2024 to refinance debt, and an ongoing share repurchase program of up to US$100 million representing 10% of share capital.
