Formerly ERYTECH Pharma S.A., the company rebranded to PHAXIAM Therapeutics S.A. in June 2023 following a merger with Pherecydes Pharma; in January 2025, it entered a strategic collaboration with Technophage SA to combine GMP phage portfolios targeting up to seven critical pathogens, aiming for 25 GMP phages by end-2025 and 35-45 by end-2026 to accelerate IPT commercialization in 30-40 European hospitals by 2027 while pursuing parallel PTMP development; however, in June 2025, PHAXIAM announced judicial liquidation proceedings and delisting from Euronext Paris.
