Repsol S.A. Repsol S.A. is a Spanish multinational integrated energy and petrochemical company headquartered in Madrid and founded in 1986 through the consolidation of state-owned oil and gas entities. The company operates across the full energy value chain, including exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas in regions such as Spain, Latin America, North America, Europe, North Africa and Indonesia; refining at six facilities in Spain and Peru with capacity exceeding one million barrels per day; and production of fuels, renewable fuels including aviation biofuel from waste and biomass, petrochemicals such as polyolefins and chemical specialties at complexes in Spain and Portugal, lubricants, aviation fuels, asphalt bitumen, liquefied petroleum gas in bottled bulk and AutoGas formats, low-emission electricity from hydroelectric combined cycle cogeneration wind photovoltaic and emerging geothermal sources, renewable hydrogen, and multi-energy retail solutions via over 4500 service stations primarily in Spain Portugal Mexico and Peru supplemented by trading of crude petroleum products natural gas and LNG worldwide. Repsol S.A. serves industrial commercial residential and mobility customers in more than 20 countries with over 25000 employees and emphasizes technology-driven innovation for decarbonization and efficiency.
