Founded in 1911 and headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona, StandardAero operates significant facilities in North America, including recent expansions in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and San Antonio, Texas. The company has significantly grown through strategic acquisitions, including the acquisition of Aero Turbine Inc. in 2024, which expanded its military engine and accessories MRO capabilities. In 2024, StandardAero became publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker SARO. It also enhanced its service offerings through a strategic partnership with Salus Aviation in 2024 to strengthen helicopter repair services and broadened its CFM56-7B engine MRO portfolio by introducing exchange engine solutions to improve aircraft availability.
