Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, the company historically operated as Traffic Corner Holdings Public Company Limited and M Pictures Entertainment Public Company Limited before rebranding to Zalekta Public Company Limited in September 2023 following a controlling stake divestment by Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited. As part of its recent strategic transformation into a diversified digital entertainment and experiential media group, the company acquired event management and ticketing platform operator EVP Corporation Co., Ltd. (Eventpop) in 2024, alongside forming new commercial partnerships with regional content creators, cinema chains, and streaming services to broaden its digital ecosystem and entertainment reach across Thailand and Southeast Asia.
