- Scorpio Gold Corporation is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on the acquisition, exploration and advancement of gold and associated mineral-resource properties in the United States. The Company’s principal asset is its 100%-owned Manhattan District project, an approximately 4,780-hectare consolidated gold property in Nevada’s Walker Lane Trend. The Manhattan District comprises the advanced exploration-stage Goldwedge Mine, including a fully permitted underground mine and processing infrastructure, together with four historic producing open pits acquired from Kinross Gold Corp. in 2021 and prospective exploration areas including the Goldwedge, Manhattan, Reliance Trend, Mustang Hill, Keystone and Jumbo targets. Scorpio Gold’s activities include geological mapping; surface and underground exploration; diamond drilling; sampling and assay programs; mineral-resource delineation; mine and processing-facility evaluation; and property, permitting and technical-development work intended to advance the Manhattan District toward potential future production. The Company primarily targets gold mineralization and also evaluates silver and other associated mineral potential. Its exploration operations are concentrated in Nevada, United States, while its corporate headquarters are located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Scorpio Gold was founded in 2006. Recent strategic developments include the continuation of its large-scale Phase 2 drilling program at Manhattan, designed to comprise at least 50,000 metres of drilling across approximately 200 holes; September 2026 drill results from the Goldwedge target, including 3.02 grams per tonne gold over 48.92 metres and 1.19 grams per tonne gold over 99.94 metres; completion in July 2026 of an upsized public offering of 43.2 million common shares at C$0.25 per share for gross proceeds of C$10.8 million, with proceeds designated for Manhattan exploration and general corporate and working-capital purposes; and the commencement on September 1, 2026 of trading of its American depositary shares on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol SGLD. Each American depositary share represents 20 common shares, with The Bank of New York Mellon serving as depositary; the Company’s common shares also trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under SGLD, on the OTCQB Venture Market under SRCRF and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under RY9.
