SkyWest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SKYW) operates as a holding company for regional airline services through its principal subsidiaries SkyWest Airlines, Inc., SkyWest Charter, LLC and SkyWest Leasing, Inc.; headquartered in St. George, Utah, and founded in 1972, the company provides scheduled passenger flights, on-demand charter services and aircraft leasing primarily throughout North America. SkyWest Airlines deploys a fleet of over 500 regional jets, including Embraer E175, Bombardier CRJ900, CRJ700/CRJ550 and CRJ200 aircraft configured with 30 to 76 seats, to connect passengers across 257 destinations in 44 U.S. states, Washington D.C., seven Canadian provinces and 11 Mexican cities under capacity purchase agreements and prorate arrangements with United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines; the carrier supports approximately 2,190 daily departures from key hubs such as Chicago O'Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Seattle, while transporting over 42 million passengers annually and employing nearly 15,000 personnel. SkyWest Charter offers charter flights using 18 CRJ200 aircraft in a 30-seat configuration, and SkyWest Leasing provides regional jet aircraft and spare engines to third parties, including 40 units currently under lease. Recent developments include a September 2025 strategic equity investment in Maeve Aerospace securing exclusive launch customer rights for its hybrid-electric MAEVE Jet to support long-term fleet modernization; a June 2025 order for 60 new Embraer E175 aircraft; and an agreement with United Airlines to deploy 40 CRJ550 aircraft under multi-year contracts through 2026, with one acquired in 2024.
