Super Micro Computer, Inc. designs, develops, manufactures and sells application-optimized information technology infrastructure solutions for enterprise, cloud, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, storage, telecommunications and edge-computing deployments. The company’s product portfolio comprises Server Building Block Solutions®, including rackmount, blade, multi-node, GPU-accelerated, high-density and embedded servers; AI systems and rack-scale AI factories; Data Center Building Block Solutions® (DCBBS) and integrated rack solutions; storage systems, petascale storage servers, JBOD and JBOF subsystems; motherboards; chassis, power supplies and other server subsystems and accessories; Ethernet and InfiniBand switches and networking products; Internet of Things and edge-computing systems; liquid-cooling, free-air-cooling and air-cooling solutions; and management software, software tools, technical support, warranty, professional, integration and global support services. Its platforms support a range of processors, accelerators, graphics processing units, memory, storage, networking, power and cooling configurations and are designed for data centers, cloud service providers, enterprises, government agencies, telecommunications operators and channel partners. The company designs and manufactures products in the United States, Taiwan and the Netherlands and serves customers in the Americas, Asia, Europe and other international markets. Super Micro Computer, Inc. was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in San Jose, California. Recent initiatives center on expanding the company’s AI infrastructure, turnkey data-platform and edge-computing offerings. In March 2026, the company launched seven integrated AI Data Platform solutions based on NVIDIA reference architectures, combining its GPU and storage systems with NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs, Spectrum-X networking, NVIDIA NIM microservices and NVIDIA NeMo software; the solutions are developed with Cloudian, DDN, Everpure, IBM, Nutanix, VAST Data and WEKA to provide integrated compute, networking, storage and AI software for enterprise deployments. In 2026, the company also expanded its edge AI product line with systems incorporating Intel Core Ultra Series 3 and Core Series 2 processors and Intel Arc Pro B-series GPUs, introduced a DCBBS Blueprint for high-performance computing based on NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL4 architecture, and launched Kubernetes Edge AI appliances with Red Hat and Everpure. The company continues to scale its worldwide manufacturing and infrastructure capacity, including the development of a new business complex and additional facilities supporting its DCBBS campus near its San Jose headquarters.
