Sola Renewable Energies Ltd. develops, finances, constructs and operates renewable-energy projects, principally solar photovoltaic power plants and lithium-ion battery energy-storage systems. The Company’s activities include the development and operation of rooftop solar installations on large commercial and industrial buildings in Israel; the development of ground-mounted solar facilities in Italy; electricity generation and sale to the grid under applicable tariffs and power-sale arrangements; and the development of standalone and co-located battery-storage assets. Sola Renewable Energies serves the electricity market and commercial-scale renewable-energy infrastructure sector in Israel and Italy, with additional stated activity in Greece. Founded in 2019, the Company is headquartered in Ramat Gan, Israel, and maintains operations in Rehovot, Israel. Its Italian activities are conducted in part through ELIA Italy, in which Sola held an 82.3% interest as of the end of 2025; ELIA develops solar and energy-storage projects in Italy. The Company’s portfolio includes operating and near-grid-connection solar capacity in Israel and Italy, licensed solar projects, grid-approved projects and a development pipeline of photovoltaic and storage projects. In Italy, Sola has secured a 20-year fixed-tariff government tender for 6 MW of projects and obtained grid-connection approval for the Priolo Gargallo 41 energy-storage project, planned at up to 1,200 MWh. In Israel, it operates commercial rooftop solar systems that sell electricity to the national grid. Recent developments include Sola’s July 2026 initial public offering and listing on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, through which it raised approximately NIS 55 million at an approximately NIS 305 million post-money valuation; the proceeds were used in part to repay existing credit facilities and support continued development of its Israeli and Italian solar and storage pipeline. The Company has also communicated a strategic expansion plan centered on scaling its Italian battery-storage business and expanding its cumulative solar and storage capacity through 2030.
