Sonova Holding AG develops, manufactures and markets innovative hearing care solutions including hearing aids, cochlear implants, consumer hearing devices, audiological care services and wireless communication systems. The company operates through four main businesses: Hearing Instruments offering behind-the-ear (BTE), receiver-in-canal (RIC), custom in-the-ear (ITE) and rechargeable ITE hearing aids such as Phonak Audéo Infinio, Infinio Ultra, Infinio Sphere, Virto R Infinio and Unitron brands; Audiological Care providing hearing care services through retail networks like AudioNova and Connect Hearing; Consumer Hearing featuring personal audio devices and Sennheiser licensed products including true wireless earbuds; Cochlear Implants delivering systems, upgrades and accessories via Advanced Bionics. Sonova maintains research facilities in Switzerland, Canada and the US, manufacturing in Switzerland, China, Vietnam and Mexico, and distributes through in-house wholesale, independent partners and retail outlets serving over 100 countries across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Americas and Asia-Pacific; the group employs over 18,000 people and generated CHF 3.9 billion in sales for the 2024/25 financial year. Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Stäfa, Switzerland, Sonova traces its origins to AG für Elektroakustik and Phonak AG, listing on the Swiss Exchange in 1994 after renaming from Phonak Holding AG in 2007.
