Sumitomo Corporation maintains a global network spanning over 130 countries with offices in major hubs like New York, London, Singapore, and Shanghai, targeting industries from automotive and infrastructure to consumer goods and energy. In recent developments, the company formed a strategic partnership with bolttech in May 2025 to launch a joint venture for technology-enabled embedded insurance solutions in Southeast Asia, focusing on device upgrade programs; entered a partnership with BIA Group in August 2024 to expand construction and mining equipment distribution in Europe and Africa; invested in U.S.-based DPH Biologicals in July 2025 for agricultural biological products; and sealed a partnership with EEW Group in September 2025 for offshore wind projects.
