- Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) is a leading global optical and digital solutions company that designs, manufactures and sells optical fibers, optical fiber cables, specialty cables including data cables and structured cabling solutions such as Estelan (single mode and OM3 fibre, CAT6 and CAT6A copper cables, patch cords), optical connectivity and interconnect products including Optotec devices for exchanges, OSPs, distribution, access and customer premises, Neox next-generation voice services platform, and digital and technology solutions for telcos and enterprises; it serves telecom operators, cloud companies, citizen networks and large enterprises across optical networking, 5G, rural connectivity, FTTx, enterprise networks and data centers in over 100 countries with manufacturing facilities in India, the US (South Carolina), China, Brazil and Europe. Recent developments include expansion of data center solutions for AI infrastructure with high-performance fibre and copper cabling systems, partnerships with Tech Data India for distribution, Swoop for fibre upgrades in Australia, deepened collaboration with Netomnia for advanced optical solutions, a Rs 2,631 crore BharatNet order in joint venture with Dilip Buildcon for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, product innovations such as 160-micron and 180-micron ultra-thin optical fibers, 864F microcables, multi-core fibre for quantum communications, silicon photonics and Rapid series optical products compliant with Build America Buy America regulations, strategic alliances with over 40 technology companies for STL Digital, new customer wins with Archtop Fiber (US), Connexin, Wyre (UK/Europe), Vocus (Australia), du Telecom (MEA) and Vedanta (India), and establishment of 76 new patents in FY25 bringing the total to 740.
