The company offers its Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery platform for orthopedic procedures; Triathlon and Trident hip and knee systems; Gamma3 and T2 intramedullary nailing systems; and Ceros and Variax distal fixation systems, among other specialized devices for joint reconstruction, trauma and extremities, and spine care. Stryker provides interventional devices, including embolic products and guidewires, along with neurotechnology and spine products such as Vizor vision systems and SurgiCount safety sponges; it also delivers solutions for operating room integration and capital equipment. Founded in 1941 and headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, the company operates globally across the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and other regions, serving hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and healthcare providers in the medtech industry. In recent developments, Stryker completed the acquisition of Artelon AB in September 2024, enhancing its sports medicine portfolio with advanced biomaterials for soft tissue regeneration. The company also acquired Wright Medical Group N.V. in 2022, bolstering its extremity reconstruction offerings, and continues to expand through strategic investments, including a new manufacturing facility in Ireland to support European growth. Additionally, Stryker launched the next-generation Mako Total Knee 2.0 application and advanced its Blue Seal bipolar sealer technology, reflecting ongoing innovation in robotics and surgical efficiency amid robust demand in orthopedics and neurotechnology segments.
