In recent developments, the company changed its name from China Minmetals Rare Earth Co., Ltd. to China Rare Earth Resources And Technology Co., Ltd. in October 2022; formed a strategic partnership with China Resources Recycling Group in 2025 for rare earth secondary resource recovery, overseas development and technological innovation; and continues investments exceeding 1 billion RMB over five years in mining technologies, sustainable practices and production efficiency amid global demand for rare earths in electric vehicles and renewables.
