Business
Fourth Milling Company operates as a leading flour mill in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specializing in the production and sale of flour, wheat derivatives, and animal feed products. Its product portfolio includes various types of flour such as wheat flour, maize flour, barley flour, rice flour, and bakery flour; concentrated animal fodder, cattle fodder, and poultry feed; bran products for nutritional consumption and animal feed; and wholesale and storage services for grains and agricultural products. The company operates through three strategically located high-capacity production facilities in Dammam, Medina, and Al-Kharj, with a combined daily milling capacity of approximately 3,150 tons of wheat grains and 450 tons of animal feed, serving around 80% of the Saudi population. Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Dammam, Fourth Milling Company targets a diverse clientele, including industrialists, bakeries, restaurants, wholesalers, traditional and modern trade outlets, feed factories, and distributors. Recently, the company has been implementing significant expansion and operational enhancement initiatives. In 2025, it signed a SAR 51.5 million contract for the construction of a new flour mill and feed factory in Al-Kharj as part of an estimated SAR 265 million capacity expansion project. It also obtained export authorization from the General Food Safety Authority, positioning itself for entry into global markets. The company has strategically shifted its sales mix towards flour products, particularly boosting its flagship FOOM brand, which holds the leading consumer volume market share in Saudi Arabia's consumer pack flour segment. Fourth Milling has supported this growth through intensified marketing campaigns and an enhanced management structure, reflecting its broader focus on operational excellence and market leadership. The company went public in August 2024, offering 30% of its capital, and leverages partnerships with key shareholders and industry experts, including Allana International, Abdullah AlOthaim Markets, and United Feed Manufacturing Company, to strengthen its sourcing and distribution capabilities. Fourth Milling Company aligns closely with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, emphasizing sustainability, food security, and innovation in its operations. Its production technologies and maintenance strategies have achieved best-in-class equipment efficiency and operational reliability. The company’s ongoing expansion and diversification efforts underscore its commitment to creating long-term value for stakeholders and sustaining its leadership in the Saudi milling and animal feed industry.
