TreeCon Resources, Inc. is a holding company that operates a diversified portfolio of businesses focused on forestry, timber, logging, and related industries primarily in the east Texas forest region. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries, the company distributes, leases, finances, and services industrial farming, logging, and heavy equipment via TTJ Equipment locations in Lufkin, Jasper, Longview, and Cleveland, Texas; conducts lumber production and wood treating operations through Southern Forest Products in Newton County, Texas, and International Forest Products in Houston, Texas; manages a real estate portfolio of timberlands in Texas and Louisiana; and engages in sawmill operations. It serves customers in logging, heavy equipment dealerships, lumber processing, wood treating, real estate investment, and previously oilfield fluids services in the United States. Founded in 1963 and headquartered at 6004 South First Street, Lufkin, Texas, the company, formerly known as Overhill Corporation, maintains its primary operations in Texas with timberland assets extending into Louisiana. In September 2021, its sawmill suffered a fire that halted normal operations, with rebuilding efforts expected to require approximately $20 million in debt and full resumption not anticipated until 2023; the most recent financial disclosures available cover fiscal 2023 selected information posted online, while no further major acquisitions, partnerships, funding rounds, or strategic shifts have been publicly reported in the last 1-2 years.
