Business
Titan Mining Corporation (TSX: TI; OTCQB: TIMCF) is a natural resource company focused on the acquisition, exploration, development, production, and extraction of mineral properties, primarily zinc concentrate and natural flake graphite. The company operates its 100%-owned Empire State Mines (ESM) complex in St. Lawrence County, New York, comprising the high-grade ESM #4 mine in production and six historic mines (ESM #1, #2, #3, Hyatt, Pierrepont, and Edwards) capable of feeding its 5,000 tons per day flotation mill; it also advances the adjacent Kilbourne Graphite Project, targeting first end-to-end U.S. production of natural flake graphite since 1956 via a fully permitted 1,200 tpa processing facility commissioning in H2 2025. ESM controls over 120,000 acres of mineral rights in the Balmat-Edwards-Pierrepont district, with 2025 zinc production guidance of 64-69 million payable pounds at all-in sustaining costs of US$0.98-1.05/lb, an updated nine-year mine life to 2033 featuring 541 million payable zinc pounds, and a maiden inferred resource at Kilbourne of 22 million short tons grading 2.91% graphitic carbon containing 653,000 tons of graphite. Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, Titan Mining is a subsidiary of the Augusta Group and serves industrial, lubricant, energy storage, and battery markets through its critical minerals output, leveraging existing infrastructure including shaft access, rail siding, and proximity to the St. Lawrence Seaway for concentrate exports. In the past two years, the company has driven major expansions including a May 2025 cooperative agreement with St. Lawrence County adding 43,943 acres of mineral rights to exceed 120,000 acres total tenure; a landmark July 2025 closure of a US$15.8 million credit facility with U.S. EXIM Bank, the agency's first direct mining investment under its Make More in America Initiative to support zinc and graphite development; a December 2024 maiden inferred resource and December 2025 positive preliminary economic assessment for Kilbourne projecting after-tax NPV (7%) of $513 million, 37% IRR, and capacity for up to 50% of U.S. natural graphite demand; a January 2025 updated ESM zinc life-of-mine plan boosting production 35%, throughput 37%, and mine life 29%; record 2024 zinc output of 59.5 million pounds with 22% growth in measured and indicated resources; and a January 2025 Phase III metallurgy confirmation with plans for graphite commercialization.
