Business
TIM S.A. provides mobile, fixed-line, long-distance, data transmission, and broadband telecommunications services in Brazil; offers personal mobile services including voice, multimedia communication, and digital content; fixed broadband through TIM Live and Ultrafibra utilizing WTTx technology; value-added services; Internet of Things (IoT) solutions; and a portfolio of digital content and managed services for individuals and corporate clients ranging from small to large enterprises. TIM S.A. operates nationwide with leadership in 4G coverage across 100% of Brazilian municipalities, including rural areas, and pioneering 5G deployment in all state capitals, supported by over 60 million mobile customers, approximately 180,000 kilometers of fiber optics, and around 30,000 sites. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, the company serves consumer and business-to-business (B2B) segments as a subsidiary of TIM Brasil Serviços e Participações S.A. In November 2025, TIM S.A. agreed to acquire V8 Consulting S.A. (V8.Tech), a technology integrator specializing in digital transformation, multicloud, hybrid cloud, and artificial intelligence services, for an upfront R$140 million plus up to R$140 million in earn-outs over six years, subject to regulatory approval by CADE; simultaneously, the company established a new B2B Vice Presidency under Fabio Costa to accelerate its 2025-2027 strategic growth plan.
